Stephen curry II was born on March 14,1988. His hometown was Akron,Ohio
but lived most of his live in Charlotte, NC. Stephen Curry was taught to play
the game of basketball through his father and mother. Curry attended the
High School of Charlotte Christian where he excelled his game and move
his game to the collegiate level. Under recruited, Davidson University decided
to extend a scholarship to Stephen to pursue a basketball career. Curry
decided to attend Davidson and making a name himself for a shooter.

first year by receiving multiple awards including Southern Eastern Conference
Freshmen of the Year, All Freshman team, and All team Southern Conference.
In his sophomore year he lead his team to a 26-6 record and got a bid to the
big dance. Curry and Wildcats played Wisconsin in the second round and beat
them 73-56. Curry put up a amazing 33 points. The Davidson Wildcats were not
as successful by not reaching the NCAA tournament, but Curry was named the
NCAA leading scorer and First team All American

Still many doubts about Stephen Curry because of small frame and ability
to play with the next level, Curry was drafted in the 1st round with the 7th pick to the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry rookie year was stunning by was second in the Rookie of the year award. At the end season Curry finished the season with a average of 17.5 points, 5.9 assists, 1.9 steals per game. The NBA quickly the Stephen was known for his shooting and ball handle abilities. Stephen Curry was apart of the 2010 USA Men's Basketball Senior team where he won a gold medal. In the 2011-2012 season, Curry had to repair his right ankle from multiple torn ligaments and only playing a total of 26 games. The breakout year for Curry was the 2014-2015 year where he was named the NBA's MVP and winning a NBA Championship. In the 2015-2016 season Curry received the Unanimous MVP awards. Seth Curry is Stephen curry brother who played for the Duke Blue Devils
and now is playing for the Dallas Mavericks. Stephen Curry married
Ayesha Curry in July 2011. A year later the two had a baby girl named Riley Curry.
Stephen has charity golf events for many reasons. He is also is apart of the United
Nations Foundation's called Nothing but Nets which delivers nets to Africa to help
collect mosquitoes to stop the malaria disease. Stephen Curry is also very religious
in his faith especially during MVP speech when he said " People should know who
I represent and why I am who I am, and that's because of my Lord and Savior".
